In an effort to earn some money to fund my plan to run a race a month from October 2011 through September 2012, I have started selling Avon.
All of my proceeds go toward running fees, new running shoes, and other other projects I talk about here on the blog. Your support means more to me than you can ever imagine.
Here are a few things you should know:
1. Unless you are in Reno (in which case, let me know so I can come by with my Avon lady swag), you’ll order from my online shop. This means that the stuff you order gets delivered directly to you. You pay online, directly to Avon. If you order $30 or more, you’ll get free shipping every time.
2. You’ll get free shipping on your first order with the code FIRSTREP.
3. If you are local and order from me directly, I won’t charge you for sales tax.
4. If you live outside the continental US, you can’t order directly from the Avon site. They only ship in the lower 48. What you’ll do, if you’d still like to order from me, is look through my shop and note the item numbers of what you want to order. The item number looks like this: 000-000. Except, you know, other numbers. Email me your list. I’ll send you an invoice, and you’ll pay through Paypal. Paying with Paypal gives you protection. I’ll ship your order to you via priority mail. 5. If anyone in the US wants to order the International way, I’m happy to do it.
6. Avon makes a great fundraiser. We can help each other! I can help you organize an online event, where your friends, family, readers, etc. order from me and I send you 20 percent of the total. Super simple. And fun.
